Mira-Cav: Truth

Stories are told about this place to children, cautionary tales told in the firelight. "Watch out for the witch who likes to eat children" they say, and at first glance the dark legends about the place seem like tame descriptions of the haunted mire that only the bravest adventures dare to enter. The truth though, is something quite different. There is a very real sorceress that lives at the heart of the island, and her power is quite staggering, but none should fear her except those who wish her or her home harm. Mira has learned over the years to distrust the prejudice and greed of the outside world and has gladly helped fuel the terrifying folk tales told about her, but if you are among the rare few she calls friend she may invite you behind the veil and into her paradise home. If you have earned her trust at a snap of her fingers the Illusion Mira maintains is lifted and the true nature of the island is revealed.
